He supervised several non-profit projects like ‘Liberi di Communicate” (Free to Communicate) and “Bookscout”, aimed at the spread of culture and informatics accessibility for disabled users. These projects constituted in September 2008 the object of a series of presentation in the States.

Since November 2008 is working on a project of experimental thesis at the Department of Oncology in Trieste. The project has ended in June 2010.  She also works with popular local channels as “Canale 6”, “Telefriuli” and “Goriziatv” and the Newspaper redaction “Messaggero Veneto” .

She contributed to the projects “Liberi di Comunicare” and “Bookscout” and she wrote an experimental thesis on “Semantic Web and conceptual languages” which constituted an important technical source  to our current project.

This happens for two main reasons. First, the patient does not have the knowledge to understand how dangerous a multidrug therapy is under the toxicological profile. The other reason concerns the sic volo: the oncologist can`t take charge of  other concomitant therapies for  chronic degenerative pathologies.

This happens because several months might pass by, between the first and the following  medical examination, creating a gap which can lead to serious risks for iatrogenic damages that must be minimized.

From this point, the idea of an information system aimed at pharmacological supervision.

Every patient who participate in the pilot study is correlated- anonymously- to the list of drugs he had taken. This allows  the doctor to know the pharmacological background of the patient.  The project will also involve secondary institutions like chemist shops which can confirm or not the  purchase of the prescription drug. So, such a  system helps the diffusion of a highly specialist co-operation network.

The informative implementation of the system we proposed, also protects  the patient privacy.
